Cricket Australia released India’s All-time Test XI – a list of 11 of the greatest test cricket players that India has seen in its cricketing history. The list includes Sunil Gavaskar, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Vijay Hazare, Vinoo Mankad, Kapil Dev, MS Dhoni, Anil Kumble, Javagal Srinath and Erapalli Prasanna.

It’s surprising to see a list of all time greatest test players only include two cricketers who played during the 70s and 80s- Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev. Indian cricketing legends like Bishen Singh Bedi, Mohindar Amarnath, GR Vishwanath, Mohammad Azharuddin, Dilip Vengsarkar having completely neglected from the list. Instead, Harbhajan Singh has been included, who definitely is a great player, but not one of the top most that our country’s team has seen.

Wouldn’t it be a delight to see them play together once, though? Wishes, wishes!

Love,

Rose
