While these aren’t the next three books of the series, they’ll be telling us more about the wizarding world and its history. They’ll be available in eBook format on Pottermore on September 6, 2016 for $3 each. The stories to be released are “Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide”; “Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Political and Pesky Poltergeists”, and “Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies.”

“Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide” will tell us about wizarding school and “what happens when the Sorting Hat can’t decide on a student’s house,” according to Pottermore’s statement.

“Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Political and Pesky Poltergeists” will have new information and stories of Professor Horace Slughorn, and also about the dark wizarding prison Azkaban.

The third, “Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies” will focus on a number the Hogwarts professors, including Remus Lupin and Minerva McGonagall. It will also tell us more about the role of Professor McGonagall in the second wizarding war.
